Industrial Painter


We are a reputable industrial painting company located in Bungoma, seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other coatings to various industrial surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
- Mix and match paints and coatings to achieve desired color and consistency
- Apply paint or coating using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on elevated surfaces or with hazardous materials
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Communicate with team members to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role
- Ability to interpret blueprints and understand technical specifications
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with safety procedures when working with chemicals or on elevated surfaces
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred for this position:
- Experience working in an industrial setting such as factories, warehouses, or construction sites
- Knowledge of specialized coatings such as epoxy or polyurethane
- Experience operating spray equipment

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month.

Location:
This job is based in Bungoma. While not required, preference will be given to candidates who are already located in Bungoma or willing to relocate.
