Librarian Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our library team as a Librarian Assistant. This full-time position is based in Balzers, with a salary of 1400$. This job is open to Indians, with no English language requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a library or similar environment, but this is not a strict requirement. This position does not include accommodation and requires the candidate to have their own valid visa for working in Balzers. As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and maintenance of our library collection, as well as providing support to library patrons and assisting with administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about books and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of the library collection
- Help patrons locate books and other materials
- Process new materials and ensure they are correctly catalogued
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and record keeping
- Provide excellent customer service to library patrons
- Help maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the library space

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working in a library or similar environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English preferred but not required

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. However, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for special events or projects. We offer competitive salary, paid holidays, and opportunities for professional development.
