Entry Level Accountant

As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial and accounting tasks for our company. You will work closely with our senior accountants to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information. Your duties may include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end close procedures. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow in their accounting career. This is a full-time position based in St-Petersburg. Preference will be given to Malayalees or Nepali candidates who are proficient in English and have their own visa.

Salary: $1400 per month

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships or part-time work included)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of Malayalam or Nepali language is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payment
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including preparing financial statements
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries or discrepancies
- Assist with annual audits by providing necessary documentation
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency within the accounting department
