Part-Time Database Administrator



We are in need of a skilled and experienced Part-Time Database Administrator to join our team in Multan. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our database systems to ensure smooth operations and data integrity.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems according to business needs
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups, access controls, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database usage and improve application performance
- Conduct periodic maintenance and updates to keep databases running efficiently
- Provide technical support for database-related issues to users across the organization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with data backup, recovery, security, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. SQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this part-time position.

Location:
This job is located in Multan. While we prefer local candidates, we are open to considering candidates from other cities as well.
