Executive Chef - Manama, Bahrain

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that showcase global flavors while also catering to local preferences
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to avoid shortages
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Maintain budget and control costs without sacrificing quality or guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on food industry trends and introduce new menu items or techniques accordingly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of international cuisines with the ability to create innovative dishes that appeal to a diverse clientele
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Valid work permit for Bahrain
