Sous Chef - Nizwa, Oman
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Nizwa, Oman. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking according to hotel standards
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring they are following proper food handling and hygiene procedures
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine with emphasis on Middle Eastern dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
The salary for this position is 900$ per month.
