Formworker for Construction Company in Los Angeles

Our construction company in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Formworker to join our team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling concrete structures based on blueprints and plans. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in formwork, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans to determine formwork requirements
- Measure and cut materials to required dimensions using hand or power tools
- Construct wooden or metal frameworks for concrete structures
- Secure forms in place using nails, bolts, or other fasteners
- Pour and spread concrete into forms according to specifications
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Collaborate with other construction workers as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans accurately
- Strong knowledge of different types of formwork systems and their uses
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for cutting materials
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Biometric passport or eligibility to obtain one is preferred

Salary: $1600 per month
