IT Manager


We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Manager to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. This includes managing the day-to-day operations, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement new technology solutions to improve company operations
- Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and other hardware
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans
- Ensure data security by implementing firewalls, anti-virus software, and other security measures
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware and software issues
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software purchases or maintenance contracts
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network administration, operating systems (Windows/Unix/Linux), databases (SQL/Oracle), firewalls
- Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS or Azure
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-tech individuals
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $900 per month
