Instrument Technician - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait



We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, calibrate, test, and maintain a variety of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in instruments and control systems
- Repair or replace faulty components and ensure proper functioning
- Perform preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Interpret technical drawings and manuals to assist with installation and maintenance
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects on time
- Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain inventory of spare parts
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working in potentially hazardous environments

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and electrical systems
- Experience with pneumatic controls, PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used for instrumentation work
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex problems quickly
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if required

Salary: 1100$ per month
