Interpreting Assistant (English/Russian)
Location: St. Petersburg, Russia


We are in need of an enthusiastic and reliable Interpreting Assistant to join our team in St. Petersburg. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English-speaking clients and Russian-speaking individuals, providing accurate and efficient translation services in various settings such as business meetings, conferences, and social events. The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Russian, as well as strong cultural awareness and sensitivity. This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time employment for the right candidate. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. Accommodation, visa sponsorship, and round-trip ticket will be provided for foreign applicants. Freshers are welcome to apply.
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on qualifications)
Requirements:
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Russian
- Excellent communication skills
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Ability to interpret accurately and efficiently in various settings
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Ability to adapt to different personalities and situations
- Bachelor's degree in Translation/Interpretation or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services between English-speaking clients and Russian-speaking individuals
- Translate documents from English to Russian or vice versa as needed
- Assist with setting up appointments, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements for clients
- Ensure all translations are completed on time with high quality standards
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information/documents.
