Indian Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Indian Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in Vilnius. As an Indian Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Indian dishes that meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality. Your passion for Indian cuisine and ability to innovate will elevate our restaurant's menu and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes
- Develop new recipes and menu items while ensuring consistency with traditional flavors
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, pricing, and cost control strategies
- Create special menus for events or special occasions as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience working as an Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, as well as modern cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory levels effectively
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of $1300 per month along with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and performance bonuses.
