Fitter - Construction and Maintenance Specialist



We are hiring a skilled Fitter to join our team in Acre, offering a competitive salary of 1500$ per month. As a Construction and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing machinery and equipment used in various industries such as manufacturing, construction, and transportation.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine work procedures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, tape measures, or markers
- Fabricate or repair metal parts using various tools including welding equipment
- Assemble and install machinery according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure efficiency
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to safety standards at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with welding techniques and equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects or standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred:
- Certification in welding or other relevant trade is preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
