Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Our luxury hotel in Al-Rayyan is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As our Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment, systems, and facilities within the hotel to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. You will also oversee maintenance staff and contractors, manage maintenance schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a hotel or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance projects on time and within budget
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of all equipment, systems, and facilities in the hotel to identify any maintenance needs
- Conduct repairs or coordinate with outside contractors as needed to resolve issues promptly
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment
- Manage maintenance staff by providing training, assigning tasks, and conducting performance evaluations
- Monitor expenses related to maintenance operations within budgetary guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations by conducting regular inspections
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Respond promptly to guest requests for repairs or assistance
