Carpenter

A reputable construction company in Salalah is seeking skilled and experienced Carpenter from Kerala, India to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will also be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling different materials to create various structures including furniture, cabinets, and other wooden items.

Requirements:
- Must be a Malayalee from Kerala with at least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills in English (basic proficiency)
- Must have a valid work visa for Salalah

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings or sketches to fully understand project requirements
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of materials needed
- Cut, shape, smooth and assemble materials using hand tools or power equipment
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings or doors using nails or screws
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality standards
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged wood or other materials
- Follow safety guidelines at all times while working on construction sites

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month with additional benefits including accommodation and transportation.
