Librarian - English Speaking (Contract Position)


We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Moscow on a contract basis. As an English speaking Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, providing research assistance to library patrons, and promoting library services to the community.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize library resources including books, periodicals, and electronic materials
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide recommendations on relevant resources
- Develop and implement programs to promote library services and increase community engagement
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and circulation statistics
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop collection development strategies
- Train new staff members on library procedures and policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian in an English-speaking environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and database management
- Experience creating promotional materials for library programs is preferred
