Carpenter



As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will work with a variety of tools and materials to create custom pieces according to specific measurements and designs. Your attention to detail and precision will be crucial in ensuring the quality and durability of the finished product.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure, cut, shape, join, and install wood materials for various structures such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, etc.
- Install cabinets, shelves, stairs, and other custom pieces according to design plans
- Use hand tools (saws, hammers) and power tools (drills, sanders) to shape and finish wood materials
- Inspect work pieces for defects or imperfections before assembling or installing them
- Repair or replace damaged or faulty structures or fixtures
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong knowledge of wood properties and different types of wood materials
- Physically fit with good stamina for standing for long periods of time
- Good communication skills in English (spoken & written)
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new techniques or skills

Salary:
Starting salary of $1600 per month based on experience
