Handyman - General Maintenance Technician



As a Handyman - General Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain and repair buildings and equipment. This includes plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance duties. You will also be in charge of inspecting and identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

To excel in this role, you must have strong technical skills and be able to work with various tools and equipment. You should have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work independently. Previous experience in maintenance or construction is preferred but not required. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance or construction preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance skills
- Ability to use various tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit to perform manual labor tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities:
- Inspect buildings and equipment for any issues or damages
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing fixtures, changing light bulbs, fixing doors/windows, etc.
- Troubleshoot various problems related to building systems or equipment
- Regularly check building systems (HVAC, electrical) for proper functioning
- Respond promptly to any emergency repairs or calls from tenants/management team
- Maintain inventory of supplies needed for repairs/maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed
- Coordinate with contractors for major repairs/installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
This position is open to all nationalities. We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month with accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship may also be available for international candidates.
