We are hiring a skilled Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in the beautiful city of Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising various construction projects from beginning to end. This includes working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As a Construction Manager, you must have strong leadership skills and be able to effectively manage teams of workers on construction sites. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry and a degree in construction management or a related field.

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed project plans and schedules
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Monitor progress and ensure that projects stay on track
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any issues that arise
- Manage budgets and expenses for each project
- Ensure that all safety regulations are followed on job sites
- Hire and manage subcontractors as needed
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any concerns

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Proficient in project management software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
