Part-Time Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Part-Time Construction Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Part-Time Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Create project plans and schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met
- Manage and supervise construction workers, ensuring they comply with safety regulations
- Monitor progress and quality of work, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and other professionals
- Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget
- Ability to read blueprints and understand architectural drawings

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
