Plasterboard Worker



As a Plasterboard Worker, your role will involve installing and finishing plasterboard to create smooth and even walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and fit plasterboard to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Install insulation between wall studs before attaching plasterboard
- Apply joint compound and tape over seams to create a smooth finish
- Sand down rough spots and apply additional coats of compound as needed
- Repair any damages or imperfections in existing plasterboard
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Strong knowledge of different types of joint compounds and their application techniques
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to plasterboard installation
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
