Survey Technician
We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician to join our team in Acre. As a Survey Technician, you will assist in the collection and analysis of survey data to support various construction and development projects. This is a full-time job with accommodation provided and visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Assist in the preparation of survey reports and maps using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software
- Perform calculations to determine land boundaries, elevations, and other measurements
- Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to ensure accuracy of data and completion of projects on schedule
- Maintain proper care and operation of survey equipment
Requirements:
- Canadian nationality or valid work permit for Canada preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience required, but familiarity with surveying principles and equipment is an asset
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit to walk long distances carrying heavy equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Salary: $1500 CAD per month
