Typesetter - Beer-Sheva, Israel


We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Beer-Sheva, Israel. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for arranging and formatting text and images according to specific design requirements. Your main goal will be to create visually appealing and error-free documents for print or digital publication.

To excel in this role, you must have strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. You should also have experience using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress. Knowledge of Hebrew language and typography is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with graphic designers, editors, and other team members to understand project requirements
- Select appropriate fonts, spacing, and formatting styles for different types of content
- Input and edit text, images, charts, and other graphics into layout software
- Ensure consistency in design elements throughout the document
- Proofread final layouts to ensure accuracy before printing or publishing digitally
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Familiarity with typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong eye for detail and ability to spot errors in layout and text
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of Hebrew language and typography is an asset but not required
