Software Tester



We are searching for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team in Washington. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month, with accommodation provided, free visa, and ticket for Malayalees or Filipinos.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality
- Identify defects and document them thoroughly in bug tracking tools
- Conduct regression testing to ensure issues are resolved
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions
- Perform manual testing as well as automated testing using appropriate tools
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential usability issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and scripts
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium or Appium is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- ISTQB certification
