Network and Systems Administrator



We are currently seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of our organization's computer network and systems. As a key member of our IT department, you will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our network and systems.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the organization's computer network, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure compatibility with our network
- Troubleshoot network and system issues as they arise, working quickly to find solutions
- Perform regular backups and updates to ensure data security
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and other network-related tasks
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in the networking field to make recommendations for improvements or upgrades
- Provide technical support for employees experiencing issues with network or system use
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects or initiatives that involve the network or systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with server management including Windows Server OS
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Atlanta

Preference: Indian candidates preferred but not required. English speaking candidates preferred. Candidates without experience may also be considered. Accommodation can be provided if necessary. This is an urgent position within our company.
