Cashier for Retail Store in Izhevsk, Russia


We are hiring a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at a busy retail store in Izhevsk, Russia. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working with people and has previous experience in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Count and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products or promotions
- Handle returns or exchanges according to store policies
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management when items need to be restocked
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
- Fluent in English (Russian language skills are also desirable)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
