Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine the exact locations and measurements of land boundaries, buildings, and other features. You will also be responsible for creating maps and reports based on your survey data. This is a full-time position located in Eldoret, Kenya.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various tools and techniques such as GPS, laser scanners, and traditional measuring equipment
- Create accurate maps and reports based on survey data
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate survey results
- Analyze survey information to identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Ensure that all surveys comply with local laws and regulations
- Manage survey equipment inventory and maintenance
- Train junior staff members on survey techniques and procedures
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Land Surveyor
- Experience using GPS, laser scanners, and traditional measuring equipment
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to land surveys
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary: 1500$ per month
