Land Surveyor
We are hiring a meticulous and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land areas, identifying boundaries, and providing data for construction or engineering projects. You will also be responsible for managing survey equipment and ensuring the accuracy of survey data.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys to accurately measure and map land areas.
- Identify property boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant information.
- Use various tools such as GPS equipment, electronic distance measurement (EDM) instruments, and total stations to collect data.
- Analyze survey data to create maps, plots, and reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide accurate data for construction or development projects.
- Manage survey equipment and perform regular maintenance checks.
- Ensure the accuracy of survey data by conducting quality control checks.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor.
- Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques and equipment.
- Proficiency in using GPS equipment, electronic distance measurement (EDM) instruments, and total stations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with other professionals on projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Salary: $1600 per month
Location: Malindi, Kenya
Preference: Indians with own visa preferred. Accommodation will be provided.
Job Type: Contract (6 months)
