Preservation Architect



A prestigious architecture firm is seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Greenland. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while adhering to strict preservation guidelines and regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of architectural history, preservation techniques, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Develop and implement preservation plans to restore and maintain the integrity of these structures
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure preservation guidelines are followed
- Conduct research on historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques
- Oversee restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of all preservation activities
- Educate clients and stakeholders on the importance of preserving historical buildings
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, styles, materials, and techniques
- Familiarity with preservation guidelines and regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Strong research skills
- Flexibility to travel for site visits

Salary:
$1400 per month
