Floral Designer - Plovdiv, Bulgaria


We are searching for a skilled and creative Floral Designer to join our team in Plovdiv. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating unique and visually appealing floral arrangements for various occasions. Your main focus will be on designing and arranging flowers, but you will also have the opportunity to work with other materials such as foliage, branches, and ribbons.

Responsibilities:
- Create beautiful and innovative floral designs for events, weddings, and everyday occasions
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and needs
- Select appropriate flowers and materials based on budget, seasonality, and availability
- Arrange flowers according to design specifications using various techniques such as wiring, taping, and gluing
- Ensure timely delivery and set up of arrangements at designated locations
- Monitor inventory levels of flowers and supplies; order new stock when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; dispose of waste properly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, foliage, and plants; ability to identify them by sight or touch
- Creativity, artistic flair, and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (i.e. buckets of water or arrangements)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a floral design course or certification is preferred.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with standard working hours from Monday-Friday. Some weekend work may be required during peak seasons.

Accommodation:
No accommodation will be provided for this position. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements in Plovdiv.

Preference:
This job is open to all nationalities. However, candidates who are Indian nationals or students are preferred.

Language Requirements:
There is no English language requirement for this position. Knowledge of Bulgarian is an asset but not mandatory.
