Merchandising Assistant

We are in need of a Merchandising Assistant to join our team at a retail company based in Ufa, Russia. This is a full-time position suitable for men with experience in merchandising. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Merchandiser in product selection, ordering, and inventory management. You will also be expected to maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of products to stores.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Merchandiser in selecting products for retail stores
- Place orders for products and monitor inventory levels
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends
- Assist in creating visual displays and setting up promotional events
- Monitor sales data and make recommendations for product restocking or changes

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in merchandising or retail
- Fluent English speaking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to work full-time without accommodation

Salary:
$1500 per month
