Junior Accountant

We are a growing accounting firm based in Sharjah, seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting senior accountants in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Processing and recording accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
- Preparing financial reports and analyzing data for accuracy
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions
- Preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
- Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: AED 1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Sharjah, UAE (preferably Indian nationals)
