Senior Accountant
Our company in Sharjah is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and tax compliance. They will also be responsible for managing a team of accountants and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Supervise a team of accountants and provide training as needed
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and implement solutions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial record keeping
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends, laws, and regulations related to accounting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant or senior accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
