Typesetting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Typesetting Specialist to join our publishing team in Moscow. As a Typesetting Specialist, you will be responsible for using specialized software to format and arrange text, images, and graphics into visually appealing and readable documents. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines will be crucial in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our publications.

Responsibilities:
- Use specialized software (such as Adobe InDesign) to typeset text, images, and graphics in accordance with design guidelines
- Proofread and edit typeset documents for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project timelines
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to typesetting software or document formatting
- Stay updated on industry standards and new technologies related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetting Specialist or similar role
- Proficiency in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members from different departments
- Knowledge of typography principles is a plus

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Location: Moscow, Russia (open for Malayalees/foreigners without English requirement)
