Seasonal Executive Chef (Dar Kulaib)
A luxury resort in Dar Kulaib is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team for the upcoming season. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase local and international cuisine
- Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained in all food preparation and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Collaborate with other departments to develop special event menus and cater to dietary restrictions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end resort or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on local ingredients
- Experience in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the kitchen
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of the resort during peak season
