Network and Systems Administrator


We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Kaunas. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing our network and computer systems. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
- Perform regular backups of server data
- Monitor system security to ensure protection against cyber threats
- Install and maintain software applications on servers and workstations
- Provide technical support to users for network and system related issues
- Keep track of inventory for hardware and software licenses
- Conduct regular system updates and patches

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems
- Knowledge of security best practices for networks and systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid work visa for Kaunas
