Restaurant Manager


As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations. You will need to have excellent leadership skills and be able to manage a team of servers, cooks, and other staff members. This position requires strong customer service skills as well as the ability to handle any issues or complaints that arise. You will also be responsible for training new employees and ensuring that all staff members adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and schedule staff members, including servers, cooks, and other employees
- Train new employees on company standards and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are being followed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Create schedules for staff members based on business needs
- Conduct performance evaluations for employees
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure food quality and consistency
- Develop strategies to improve restaurant sales and profitability

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the restaurant industry
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Washington D.C., United States
