Restaurant Manager

Our busy restaurant in Washington is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. As a leader in our team, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining restaurant standards, and driving profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Hire, train, and manage staff
- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items
- Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards
- Track financial performance and report to upper management

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations including inventory management, cost control, and health & safety regulations
- Experience in creating staff schedules and managing labor costs
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles for tracking financial performance
- Proven track record of increasing profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Salary:
Starting salary of $1500 per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Washington D.C., USA
