Industrial Architect

We are a leading architectural firm in Akron, known for our innovative and sustainable designs. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial building design and construction, with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of the latest industry trends.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their objectives
- Create detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and gather information for new projects
- Develop project timelines and budgets, and ensure that projects are completed within deadlines and budget constraints
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet all necessary codes and regulations
- Review construction plans to identify any potential issues or conflicts
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members throughout the design process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial building design
- Proficiency in CAD software, as well as knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working on projects in the manufacturing or industrial sector. This is an urgent position that requires immediate availability. Salary will be competitive based on experience.
