Data Scientist/Analyst

Our fast-growing company in Ashdod is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist/Analyst to join our research team. As a Data Scientist/Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets and developing statistical models to drive business insights and decisions. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent employment, and accommodation can be provided if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced statistical methods to analyze large datasets and identify patterns, trends, and insights
- Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and inform business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide actionable insights
- Communicate complex findings in a clear, concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in data analysis and modeling

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Analyst
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience working with SQL databases and big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred:
- Experience working in the technology industry or conducting research on computer-related topics
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools such as TensorFlow or Keras
