Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Housekeeping Assistant to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, including guest rooms and common areas. This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indians and Malayalees.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels and restock amenities as needed
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors in guest rooms and common areas
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash containers and replace liners
- Sanitize bathrooms and replenish supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Maintain a neat and organized housekeeping cart at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects up to 25 pounds
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1800 per month.
