A well-established financial institution in Eldoret, Kenya is seeking a highly motivated and organized Collector to join our team. As a Collector, you will be responsible for collecting delinquent accounts and working closely with customers to set up payment plans.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers who have overdue accounts via phone, email, or in person
- Negotiate payment plans with customers based on their financial situation
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment arrangements made with customers
- Monitor payment plans and follow up with customers to ensure payments are made on time
- Update customer account information and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Comply with all company policies and procedures related to debt collection

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in debt collection or a similar role preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and handle difficult situations professionally
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience using databases
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is a plus
