Senior Architect - Akron, Ohio, USA


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for architecture and design to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the growth of our company.

As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process from concept development to final construction. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other team members to create innovative and functional designs that meet the client's needs and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from conception to completion
- Develop creative and practical solutions that meet client requirements
- Prepare detailed drawings, models, and presentations for client approval
- Review construction drawings and provide technical support during construction phase
- Conduct site visits to ensure design specifications are being met
- Mentor and guide junior architects in their professional development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing architect
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred:
- Licensed architect in Ohio or ability to obtain license within 6 months of employment
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects
- LEED certification
- Experience with sustainable design practices

Salary:
