Experienced Mason for Construction Company in Eldoret, Kenya


We are a well-established construction company in Eldoret, Kenya looking for an experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and chimneys using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in masonry work and be able to work independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out structures using measuring tools
- Cut or break bricks and concrete blocks to the desired size
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Spread mortar or grout evenly over the surface using trowels
- Set bricks or stones in place according to blueprints or instructions
- Check the level and alignment of each course of bricks
- Patch or replace damaged brickwork or stonework
- Clean excess mortar from finished surfaces

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Good knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Own visa/work permit preferred
- Fluent in English is mandatory
