Housekeeping Associate


As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas in our hotel in Albena, Egypt. Your main duties will include cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and bedrooms, changing linens, restocking supplies, and ensuring that all areas are free of debris. You must have excellent attention to detail, be physically fit to handle tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time, and be able to follow safety procedures. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. This is a part-time position without accommodation provided, so you must have your own visa to work in Egypt.

Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens and towels as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Dust furniture and surfaces
- Vacuum carpets and sweep floors
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding privacy and security of guest belongings

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English (or Arabic for Egyptian candidates)
- Must have own visa to work in Egypt
