Fitter Assistant


A reputable manufacturing company in Gujrat is seeking a skilled and hardworking Fitter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mechanical work and a willingness to learn from experienced fitters. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month, plus accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assist fitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and adjust machinery
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in the field
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work in different locations as needed

Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools used in mechanical work
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot simple mechanical issues independently
