Mason - Construction Worker


We are in need of a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Almada. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing walls, floors, and other structures using various materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and stone. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or specifications
- Measure and cut materials using hand or power tools
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
- Align structures using levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges
- Fill joints with mortar or grout and remove excess material
- Repair or replace damaged bricks, blocks, or stones
- Install fireplaces, chimneys, or other decorative elements

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Proficient in using hand and power tools such as trowels, levels, hammers, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Physically fit to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Salary:
As a Mason with our company in Almada, you can expect a salary of $1200 per month.
