Foundry Foreman


As a Foundry Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of metal castings in a foundry located in Zagreb. You will work closely with the foundry workers to ensure that all production processes are carried out efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in foundry work and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the foundry production process
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed
- Ensure that all workers adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- Train new employees on proper procedures and techniques
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products
- Communicate regularly with management to report on production progress and any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a foundry setting
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to foundry work
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with metal casting techniques such as sand casting or investment casting
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, and work in a hot environment
Salary:
1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
