Executive Chef
Are you an experienced Executive Chef looking for a new challenge? Our 5-star hotel in Ar-Ruwais, located in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking an Executive Chef to join our team. This role requires a talented and passionate individual who is able to lead and inspire our kitchen team, while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create innovative menu items and develop recipes
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food production
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Continuously strive for improvement in taste, presentation, and efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of diverse cuisines and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods
- Biometric passport for ease of travel
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month, along with accommodation. This is a great opportunity for an Indian chef looking to gain international experience.
