Entry-Level Turner

As an entry-level Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to create precision metal parts. You will work with various materials, including steel and aluminum, to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to use hand tools with precision.

Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and drills
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper cutting speeds and feed rates
- Monitor machines for any malfunctions or defects
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience as a Turner is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Willingness to learn new skills

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month. Accommodation can be provided if needed. Candidates with a biometric passport are preferred.
