Junior PHP Developer


As a Junior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications using PHP programming language and related technologies. Your main tasks will include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the design team to ensure website functionality. You will work closely with senior developers to learn new skills and techniques to enhance your knowledge in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP programming language
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot issues and debug code to ensure optimal website performance
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure website functionality meets project requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to web development
- Work closely with senior developers to learn new skills and techniques
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Participate in code reviews to improve code quality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in developing websites using PHP programming language (can be substituted by relevant coursework or personal projects)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Benefits:
This is a contract job offering a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. Own visa holders are preferred for this position.

Location: This position is based in Karachi, Pakistan. However, remote work may be possible depending on the candidate's location.
